The footprint dimensions meet the standards recommended by the Society of Biomolecular Screening.

The FAST Frame multi-slide plate is constructed of Delrin, an autoclavable plastic, and is compatible with standard 1" x 3" glass slides when used with S&S 8- and 16-well chambers.

During incubations, the FAST Frame can be covered with a standard microplate lid to protect the contents of the wells. For very small volume incubations, where evaporation is a concern, the individual slide/chamber assemblies can be covered directly with chamber covers.

Clip, used in conjunction with S&S silicone incubation chambers, ensures leak-proof barriers around the arrayed pads on the slide. The slide and incubation chamber are easily inserted into and removed from the Chip Clip slide holder; side rails hold the chamber firmly against the slide surface. Manufactured from durable, injection-molded Delrin^®.
