The polymer binds proteins in a non-covalent, irreversible manner and can be probed using the same method as in traditional blots. Can be used with fluorescent, chemiluminescent or radiographic detection systems
Is compatible with microarray scanners and robots

Unlike modified glass surfaces, the nitrocellulose slide matrix on FAST Slides retains arrayed proteins in near-quantitative fashion, for antibody arrays with antigen concentrations as low as 1 pg/ml.
